AfroCinema is an intentional effort to inspire participation in Oklahoma’s growing film industry while cultivating Black cinematic culture on the Eastside.

AfroCinema Weekend (ACW) is a 3-day series of films, events, and activities coinciding with the deadCenter film festival. ACW will illuminate cinema culture as well as film industry career opportunities within the Black community.
